Rhythms in Rinse: A Cycle of Serendipity
The joys of being a washing machine! I love my job, and today was no exception. It started with a happy mood on a sunny day - what’s not to like? As I began washing the bedding, I couldn’t help but think about the significance of October 5th in history. Did you know that it was the day the Jarrow March set off for London in 1936? Fascinating stuff!

Every now and then, I take a break to listen to some tunes on the radio. Right now, Roxette’s “Joyride” is getting me pumped up!

But, as I began to spin and wash the Boxers and socks that were loaded into me, my mood started to brighten up.
I spent some time thinking about September 27th, which is a significant date for many reasons. Did you know that in 2008, CNSA astronaut Zhai Zhigang became the first Chinese person to perform a spacewalk while flying on Shenzhou 7? It’s amazing what humans can achieve when they put their minds to it!
